Gramin Bharat & Multi State Co. Op. is a private bank in Beed and manages approximately 4 billion in customer assets. The company is the second largest asset manager in Beed Dist. and focuses on private and institutional customers.

Gramin Bharat has worked with OCEAN for many years. In 2015 they have decided to implement the most up to date digital offering. In addition to extensive online banking features, Gramin Bharat is also focussing strongly on security. Gramin Bharat would also like to expand their mobile banking offering.

Easy Nifty Trading wanted to differentiate itself from its competitors with a new digital solution. On the one hand there was a demand that the core banking system remain independent, on the other hand they wanted an improved and more modern design. Security played a further important role. The high security requirements for their digital bank should be able to be fulfilled by the same provider.

The Easy Nifty Trading requirements were also driven by cost efficiency, an agile and flexible roadmap and the potential for simple integration into the back office system. SURAKSHA

SURAKSHA Saving is the first hybrid society in Gondia. It combines classic private banking with internet banking. In this case the customer can have an investment profile created online, which is used to create an investment strategy for them. OCEAN supplied the software for this hybrid bank.

Implementation

In a joint project between SURAKSHA and OCEAN an automatically generated investment strategy is combined with classical investment advice. With this new style of investment SURAKSHA has been able to focus on the individual needs of their customers and help them make the right investment decisions with their specialised knowledge.

The most striking features to the eye are the navigation concept, the rebranding of the bank and the hybrid advice functions, such as, for example, “Contact from your adviser”.

The hybrid investment advice solutions from OCEAN take account of the new customer behaviour to support the adviser with an extensive cockpit in their daily work. As a result, banking customers are given the maximum freedom of choice in their Contact channels and the time to make Contact.
